29th August 2025 - NEW Form 18a and more
From Monday 1st September, there will be a new best practice completed Form 18a at Member Online login. Download the new form at Folder 06 Tenancy sign up chapter.
There will also be an updated Form 22 rental application form. The form has very minor but important changes. Page 4 of the Form 22 will change from this currently as reference Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Regulation 2009 (the Regulation), to Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Regulation 2025 (the Regulation). If you have the Form 22 on your agency website, and or have printed versions, please note this update. The updated version will be available at the RTA website from 1st September.
A reminder for Platinum PME and Platinum NON PME Membership services - Real Estate Excellence, most of the best practice forms/templates have been updated in the folders.

19th August 2025 - Member update email re the RTRA new regulations
An email is being sent today. Version 2 of the August Member update (version 1 emailed on the 7th August). All you need to know regarding the new RTRA regulations commencing 1st September 2025. Also at Member Online login, latest Member update folder, August 2025.

11th August 2025 - Platinum PME and Platinum NON PME member offices.
Due to the changes to the RTRA regulations, many best practice forms and templates have and or are being updated ready for 1 September 2025.
All Form 11 Notice to Remedy breach templates have been updated and are at Member Online login now, folder 12 breaches chapter. The previous version had references to the Form 18a standard term clauses. Given many of these are being renumbered as part of the September 1 Form 18a changes, the templates have been updated to cite the section of the RTRA Act which has not changed. Refer to the following blog link Queensland tenancy law reform /changes 10th August and email sent 11th August.
Most of the PME chapters had references to the clauses of the Form 18a so all chapters are being updated to reflect this change. All of the 39 chapters of PME system - Platinum PME membership Real Estate Excellence manual will have a new version on 1st September 2025.
We shall continue to update relevant members on the changes to above, and the regulations.
